Dr. Brent A. Kvam was raised in Austin, MN. From there he attended Winona State University where he earned his pre-med degree in 1996. Dr. Brent earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2001. He also earned his certificate as a certified strength and conditioning specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2003.
Dr. Brent was an active member and officer of the sports council while at Northwestern Health Sciences University. He learned effective ways to improve athletes performance and return them from injuries more quickly.
He practiced in several clinics in the Twin Cities before founding HealthStar Chiropratic Center, PA in Eden Prairie, where he specializes in treatment for disc injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, and rotator cuff injuries. He also possesses advanced training for injuries to shoulders, wrists, knees and feet.
Dr. Brent is currently a member of the following professional oraganizations:
- American Chiopractic Association
- World Chiropractic Alliance
Dr. Brent enjoys involvement in golf, tennis, running, landscaping, hunting and fishing. He has two wonderful children that he enjoys spending his free time with.
Director of Patient Relations
Dawn Alsleben has been with us since March 2008. Dawn is a graduate of Winona State University with a degree in business education. She is our first point of contact for our practice members. She handles the billing and scheduling. Dawn also coordinates our community events such as our take five stress relief breaks where we can come into your work place and perform massage and wellness evaluations for your employees.
Shiatsu Massage Therapist
Linda Charnley is our Shiatsu Massage Therapist. Shiatsu is performed without any oils and is a clothes on massage which many people prefer. Patients enjoy the benefits that Shiatsu brings them such as:
